By Susan Phillips | Thursday, July 14, 2016 | 0 CommentsType 2 Diabetes is a serious disease with many associated complications. In Queensland more than 93 000 people with diabetes are undiagnosed. Symptoms may include:
- increased thirst and urination
- increased hunger
- headaches
- blurred vision
- skin infections, itching
- poor wound healing
- feeling tired and lethargic
- leg cramps
- mood swings
If you experience any of these symptoms, arrange a visit to your GP for further assessment. Diabetes is treatable and early detection minimises the risk of serious complications.
